Designed as an ancillary system to complement our range of high-security locking systems, the MICO High Security Tower Bolt range are robustly manufactured from stainless steel, making them corrosion resistant and able to provide extra strength to other forms of security.

As part of certain complete doorsets in conjunction with work undertaken by our door manufacturer partners, the MICO High Security Tower Bolts have reached a security standard as high as LPS 1175 SR6, making it suitable for extended attacks using an extensive range of powerful tools.

OPERATION

Tower Bolts consist of a long sliding bolt with a handle that is pulled across to an internal or external fitting, before the handle is turned to slot it into a secure housing.

  • Full stainless steel construction with a brushed finish.
  • Extended length bolts designed for taller doorsets available from 600mm to 1750mm.
  • Suitable for both steel and timber doorsets.

  • Rated up to LPS 1175 SR6 standard with compatible doorsets, with a medium security option approved for up to SR3 use on selected complete doorsets.

OPTIONS

We offer two main tower bolt options, with one designed for medium security applications and the other for high security applications.

 

MSTB – Medium Duty Tower Bolt designed for medium-security applications such as retail establishments and data centres. Tested and approved up to LPS 1175 SR3 standard (on compatible doorsets). 15mm diameter bolt with sprung action with a 50mm Bolt Throw.

Standard Length: 260

Extended Length Options: 600, 1000

 

HSTB – Heavy Duty Tower Bolt suitable for high security applications such as national infrastructure, defence, bank vaults and high-priority data centres, with a security rating up to LPS 1175 SR2 to SR6 on compatible doorsets. Deadlock facility in thrown position, with a 19mm diameter bolt and a 35mm bolt throw.
