Heavy Duty T Handle Range
Designed as a low profile, low projection alternative to conventional lever handle styles, the MICO Heavy Duty T Handle Range are made from high quality stainless steel designed to withstand physical attacks, acts of vandalism and corrosion.
We offer two external mounting options, with either a recess mounted or low-profile surface mounted T Handle providing the same high quality unsprung, non-handed, secure lever for operating mortice or surface mounted locks and latches.
We also offer an internal T Handle, designed for doors in public walkways that require handle furniture with low or no outward projection.
OPTIONS
T Handles are non-handed and are simply turned to activate or deactivate the locking or latch mechanism.
FEATURES
- Full stainless-steel construction with a brushed finish.
- Supplied with an 150mm long 8mm diameter square spindle as standard, although longer spindle lengths are available on request to suit thicker doors.
- Internal T Handle option also available.

OPTIONS
As our T Handle range is suitable for both timber and steel doorsets, we supply stainless steel machine screws as standard, with woodscrew fixings also available on request.
Low Profile Surface Mounted – A surface mounted T Handle with a 28mm projection out of the door surface.
Recess Mounted – A T Handle that sits within a recess within the door itself, adding almost no projection outside of the door.
Internal – A T Handle without an external housing.

The range includes a surface-mounted and mortice-fitted option with a brushed finish, compatible with almost any steel and timber doorsets and existing locking solutions, including locks and latches that accept an 8mm square follower*.
The T Handle is designed to withstand physical attacks and vandalism. It is manufactured from marine-grade stainless steel and tested and certified to EN 1670: GR5 for enhanced corrosion protection.
