It has been another great year for an array of door companies, thank you for choosing MICO for your security and fire testing in 2023. We look forward to seeing where these certifications take us next year.
In 2023 we took time to invest in our future! One of the ways we did that was through a local Engineering Taster Day at Oldham College, where we introduced young people to the industry. It was a fantastic opportunity to help educate the next generation of passionate engineers!

Earlier this year we launched our high security Flush Bolts, which have not only been awarded the ‘Secured By Design’ accreditation, but also achieved LPS 1175 B3 (SR2), C5 (SR3) and all the way up to D10 (SR4)*!
Our specially designed shielded lock, the Navis-Shield, has also been a key highlight this year, showing its true strength and resilience when attacked on a national telecoms site earlier this year. Read our case study here!
As our business grows, so does our factory! 2023 has seen Tindall Engineering expand to a second factory with new manufacturing facilities enabling us to keep up with the demand for our robust locking solutions.
And there’s more to come in 2024! Keep your eyes peeled for extended facilities including a new office space for our growing team.
Collaboration has been an important focus this year, with our technical team working alongside our customers to solve thier unique locking challenges with a bespoke solution.
