This year was a busy one and full of achievements! From getting two of our products certified to LPS 1673 to attending The Security Event 2024 and expanding our office, we have also spent time on product development. Enjoy our full round-up below!
LPS 1673 Tested & Certified
As security threats evolve, physical solutions must follow suit. LPS 1673 is LPCB's latest security standard, developed to raise the bar for security performance and compliance in the wake of violent, fast-moving attacks targeting high net worth individuals.
Our Rimlock and Modula locking systems have been tested and certified to meet LPS 1673, when combined with tested and certified doorsets. These locking systems provide robust protection for locations vulnerable to fast-moving, violent attacks.
The Security Event 2024
We made our debut appearance at The Security Event 2024 in April. Our team had an amazing three days in Birmingham and made valuable connections with security industry professionals across the UK. We showcased our high-performance locking systems, including the market’s highest LPS 1175* security-rated single-point lock, the Abryll, and our shielded lock, designed for extreme environments, the Navis-Shield.
As for 2025, we will be attending The Security Event again – and more! You can find our team at ATLAS in February and at MLA in October. We will be in touch with more details closer to the time!
2024 Product Development
Throughout 2024, our internal technical team has been hard at work designing and developing products due to launch next year. Engineering excellence does not end with launching new products for Tindall Engineering. Our five technical specialists are always looking for ways to evolve our products against new threats and search for opportunities to test and certify them to the most notable security standards.
As part of this, we tested and certified even more of our security solutions for corrosion resistance to enhance their performance. Working closely with our customers, this year we have also seen lots of new MICO lock listings added to RedBookLive, ranging from LPS 1175* to LPS 1673*. We want to thank our OEM door partners who made this achievement possible and for their continued support this year.

We’re Still Growing!
As our team keeps growing, our office needs to follow suit! In 2024, we were able to grow our office facilities by 7000 square feet. And in 2025, we are looking to expand further to improve our in-house test area and upgrade our showroom.

Secured by Design
After three years of successful collaboration, we’re pleased to announce the renewal of our membership with Secured by Design. Accrediting our products to universally recognised security standards is how we ensure people’s safety and security, which is why we have an extensive range of products approved to the Police Preferred Specification. Our focus is to develop new solutions that keep people safe and secure from evolving security threats, and we look forward to continuing our work with SBD in their mission to deter and prevent crime in the UK.
