With interchangeable, high performance solid steel bolts and concealed fixings, the MICO Flush Bolt has been independently tested and certified to LPS 1175 B3 (SR2) & C5 (SR3)* withstanding cutting, levering and ramming attempts by unwanted intruders.
 
As well as easy installation using M8 threaded rod, the MICO Flush Bolt is constructed from 316 grade stainless steel to ensure durability and longevity, particularly within hostile environments.

What Is a Flush Bolt For?

Some of the best security features are hidden from sight, and a flush bolt is one of the best examples of this.
 
A Flush Bolt is an ancillary locking device, similar to a tower bolt, that keeps a door leaf or hatch secure in place.
 
The main difference between the two, however, is placement. Flush Bolts are recessed into the leading edge of the door leaf, similar to mortice locks. They are activated using a lever that is also flush with the door.
 
Flush Bolts are typically placed on the top and bottom of the passive door leaf to secure one half of a double doorset during off-peak times and add internal resilience against physical entry attempts.

 

In recent independent testing, the MICO Flush Bolt achieved standard LPS 1175 B3 (SR2) & C5 (SR3)*. This speaks to the robustness of our flush bolts compared to the standard offerings, and their suitability for the harshest environments.
