Climate change and the increased likelihood of heavy precipitation means the potential for devastating flooding has become a major concern in the UK, threatening our Critical National Infrastructure including electrical substations, water treatment works, gas installations, telecommunications and many other locations.

Failing to protect against water ingress can lead to:

Localised Power Loss

Equipment failure

Costly operational downtime

Contamination of, AND disruption to, clean water supplies

Commercial threats such as punitive regulatory measures

Structural damage and loss of assets

INTRODUCING THE MICO FLOOD DEFENCE RANGE

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new Flood Defence range that has been designed and manufactured to meet specific water ingress performance requirements.

The high security multipoint locking system comes in a full range of options including manual and automatic deadlocking via manual bolting, and solenoid deadlocking for use with access control systems.

Manual bolting is achieved by lifting the handle to engage the tapered shoot bolts at all three points, the door leaf is firmly compressed against the seals to provide a consistent water tight barrier.
