Tindall Engineering enhance the MICO Abryll High Security Locking System
Tindall Engineering is not content with being stationary with our MICO product range. We understand the importance of developing and improving existing products to adapt to changing environments and keep us at the forefront of high security locking technology. As infrastructure develops, coupled with the expanding threat of terrorism, vandalism, theft and sabotage, there is a greater need for heightened security.
The MICO Abryll has long been established as the highest performing and most trusted forced entry resistant single point lock available in the United Kingdom, fully tested and approved to LPS1175 SR6 on compatible single and double doorsets. With the lock case, mechanism and shoot bolt manufactured from stainless steel materials as standard this robust product has proven to be highly effective in the harshest of environments where security is paramount such as exposed location water, electricity and gas utility sites.
To further enhance the MICO Abryll single point locking system we have developed a new cast stainless steel receiver. Previously, the receiver was manufactured from mild steel and powder coated but this has now been upgraded to full Grade 316 stainless steel to provide improved aesthetics and a more durable corrosion resistant finish. A unique roller system has also been incorporated to provide a smoother bolt throw action and retraction.
The new MICO Abryll stainless steel receiver is available now, and over the coming weeks will be integrated into orders for inward opening door applications and double doorsets specified with tower bolts to the passive leaf. It can also be ordered separately for retro-fitment to existing installations.
