FLOOD DEFENCE
Potential flood sites can be a significant risk to electrical systems being damaged resulting in localised power loss and equipment failure that could result in operational down time. Contamination of clean water supplies is another major threat resulting in the disruption of supply and the potential spread of disease.
Commercial threats in the form of financial penalties puts further pressure onto the energy and water suppliers who fail to maintain their contractual obligations with their customers.
We understand that safety and security is paramount especially on remote sites that generally need to be left with some sort of flood defence in place as there may be insufficient time to respond once a flood has been alerted.
Here at Tindall Engineering Ltd we have been designing and manufacturing the MICO range of high security locking systems for well over 30 years. The MICO INT Multipoint range has established itself as the most approved integrated multipoint locking range for high security Applications.
We are pleased to announce the launch of our new Flood defence range that we have designed and manufactured to meet specific flood defence requirements.
In order for us to offer the best flood defence solution we have worked closely with door manufacturers to integrate our system offering a unique flood defence package.
The high security system comes in a full range of operations including integrated electro, mechanical Solenoid deadlocking for use with access control systems, Manual and Automatic deadlocking via manual bolting. Manual bolting is achieved by lifting the lever handle to engage the shoot bolts at all 3 points. The unique tapered bolts compress the door against the seals which creates a water tight seal.
The MICO Flood defence range has stainless components, giving ease of use on sites that may be subject to harsh environments.
