COMPANY PROFILE
Tindall Engineering Limited was founded in 1974 by the Managing Director, Melvyn Tindall. Based in Oldham, Tindall Engineering, accredited with ISO9001:2000, designs and manufactures the MICO range of Emergency Exit hardware, Multi-point High Security Locks and Electro mechanical multi-point locking systems for access control. The Mico range is also manufactured and supplied to ASSA Ltd, part of the worlds largest lock manufacturer, ASSA ABLOY, and forms an important part of their High Security Locking Division.
In 1996 Tindall Engineering was one of the first companies to achieve accreditation of the European Standards BS EN 1125 and 179 for safety and also achieved accreditation for LPC Grade 4 for security. More recently its multi-point security locks have been accredited with H.M. Central Government for security.
Over the years Tindall Engineering have emerged as class leaders in this particularly competitive market, both nationally and internationally, the MICO range having been installed on the French Metro; Taiwanese Rapid Transit railways; International Airports; Clearing Banks; Cash Handling Centres; Utilities; Nationwide Retail Stores; Local Authorities; HM Central Government and the telecommunications industry.
As well as being successfully tested to European and HM Government standards the MICO range of high security multi-point locking and emergency exit hardware systems have the following benefits:
